Follow the park map to the ramp, separate from the summit and seasonal boathouse. Gate and day-use closing times matter for the return drive as well as the morning launch.
A launch inside the park
Use the park map for the ramp rather than the nearby rental boathouse. Day-use areas close one hour before the seasonal park gate time; allow time to load and leave the waterfront before that cutoff.
