Hours source & corrections

Based on published America/New_York hours, not live venue confirmation. Unlisted days and unverified holiday changes remain uncertain. Meal availability can have a separate cutoff. Routine monthly rechecking does not make a supported schedule disappear when due. Structured sources can be checked automatically; other sources need manual review.

First-come sites & tent surfaces

Sites 20 and 31 are kept for first-come camping, with fees paid on site. Sites 43–45 are paved; if tent camping there, the operator recommends an air mattress. A first-come designation does not mean a site is available now.

Check the exact site's vehicle limit, not just whether it has electricity: Upper Loop 044 lists RVs/trailers up to 26 ft, while 045 lists up to 40 ft. Both are paved back-in 50-amp sites with an eight-person/two-vehicle maximum and 4 PM check-in/2 PM checkout.

These are two specific examples, not campground-wide limits or availability promises. Use the individual Recreation.gov record for your rig and dates. Keep the existing no-individual-water/sewer and paved-tent-surface advice in view.
